Passover (Hebrew: פֶּסַח Pesach) commemorates the story of the Exodus, in which the ancient Israelites were freed from slavery in Egypt. Judaic Studies
Next session: Thursday, April 27, 2023 @ 7:30pm

We will meet again on April 27. This is both after Pesach and after the next Temple Board meeting.
Our next topic will be Jewish ethics. We will be reading most of a book by Rabbi Louis Jacobs (1920-2006), Jewish Personal and Social Ethics. The book is quite accessible, and reflects a great deal of scholarshp by this distinguished British rabbi and theologian, whose perspective is close to that of American Conservative Judaism. The text will be made available on line, along with a few additional readings on these topics.
