About the event

Services will be conducted live and also via Zoom with Temple Sholom. Services will start on Saturday (11/27/21) morning at 10:00 am PT.  We will use both the Siddur Hadash (Red book), Shabbat and Festival Morning, and (Blue Book), Shabbat and Festivals.  Pages will be posted on the Zoom link. We will also broadcast on our Facebook page for Temple Sholom of Ontario.

Parashat Vayeshev is the 9th weekly Torah portion in the annual Jewish cycle of Torah reading.

Parashat Vayeshev tells the stories of how Jacob's other sons sold Joseph into captivity in Egypt, how Judah wronged his daughter-in-law Tamar who then tricked him into fulfilling his oath, and how Joseph served Potiphar and was imprisoned when falsely accused of assaulting Potiphar's wife.
